DECEMBER NEWSLETTER.

The Annual General meeting is a legal requirement, as we are both a charity and a limited company. We will present the accounts for the previous year and also a report from both Chair and the manager. Then the Management committee will stand down and a new one elected. Some of the current team will stand again ( and their expertise is much appreciated) and all other parents are most welcome to stand .
The AGM is on Thursday December 8th at 6p.m. The first part is a social time with a chance to look at displays and chat to staff and other parents. Please bring a dish to share. Then from 7 we have the reports and election.

On Tues. 13th December Sigrid’s mum will be holding a Swedish Breakfast and you are all most welcome. From 9a.m. This will coincide with St Lucia’s day – a very important Christmas festival for Swedes.

The children have had a busy term, and are now very s settled in their new rooms. The small room all settled quickly and are developing relationships and also their self help skills and independence. They have enjoyed going to soft play and the Calthorpe project this term.
The Big Room have had various trips supporting their topic of The Human Body and this topic has been very interesting. The topics chosen are always reflecting the children’s own interests. We hope to have more trips out during the New Year.

The staff will be holding LINKS meetings through December, so do please approach them to arrange a date and time. This does not apply to children who were new this term as they have already had their meetings.
WE CLSOE ON THURS 22ND DEC AT 4P,N. TO ALLOW FOR CLEANING. WE REOPEN ON WED 4TH JAN.
