Weekly updates. 1st to 11th August.
MON 1ST – Nisha on leave all week. The children from the small room will be doing lots of visits this week and next to the Big Room. Katharine cooking today.
TUES Joy and Katharine home visit all morning. Picnic lunch today with picnic foods from Waitrose. Tomaso will be back for the remainder of the term from tomorrow. Katharine has a meeting in the afternoon on site.
WED –
THURS Big Room has an outing to the Olympic Park today and will have a picnic lunch there before returning early afternoon. We will go by hi speed train to Stratford.
FRI – Katharine off in the afternoon.
CAMP OUT FOR ANY FAMILIES OVER THE WEEKEND. LET ME KNOW.
MON 8TH – NISHA ON LEAVE ALL WEEK.
TUES 9th – New children visiting 10-11.30. Gemma and Mary have LINKS meetings in the morning.
WED 10th –
THURS 11th – Last day for the children. Nina and Ben are leaving us today for Big School. Nursery closes at 5p.m. Staff are in on the 12th .
WE REOPEN NURSERY ON WED 31ST AUGUST . Staff have an inset day on Tuesday 30th. New children will settle from the 5th September.

MON 25^th – Emma and Nisha on leave . Shamsia here 9.30-5.  Gloria is still away sick and won’t return before we break up. In the meantime we have Tomaso an Italian chef who is very good. Katharine on visit with Upaia in afternoon.

TUES 26^th –  Shamsia here 9.30-5. Staff meeting 8.30-9. Katharine and Upaia on a home visit in afternoon. Hikali last day until September.

WED 27^th – New children will be visiting this morning. Last dance session this term. Mary and Katharine homevisit in morning.  Katharine and  Joy home visit in afternoon.

THURS 28^th – Emma back.  Party for leavers ( second one) at 3.30 onwards.  MC meeting at 7.00 p.m.

FRIDAY – Emma and Syrie are graduating today. CONGRATULATIONS.  Mana’s last day today.

DON’T FORGET TO  CANCEL YOUR STANDING ORDERS TO NURSERY AFTER August’s payment if your child is leaving. Other parents don’t forget to amend your payments form 1^st September according to the fees table sent out earlier this term.

July 27th sept 13th and 29th all 10-11 to view the nursery.

We raised nearly £1500.00 on our fun day.

We have had a wonderful couple of days doing lots of water play, using the hose pipe to soak each other, playing the water down the slide as we slid down. We filled buckets, sat in paddling pools, played hook a duck and generally really enjoyed the hot weather. We have kept in the shade as much as we could, and eaten lollies.

There Has also been lots of science , maths and physical activity, as well as new vocabulary  (saturated) and lots of fun.

We raised around £1200.00 this year, amazing thanks to everyone’s hard work. especial thanks to Phil Graham for organising this year.

Weekly update

July 18^th – 22^nd .

Upaia Teja  starts working here on Monday 18^th. She will be shadowing  Joy, Emma  and Mary in the small room ready to take on her new children as part time worker in September. Upaia is a degree level worker with over a years experience working with very young children.

We have a cook booked until the end of term replacing Gloria as she recuperates. His name is Tomaso.

MONDAY –  Emma is away until the end of July. Mary is on leave today so Shamsia will be helping Joy. This is Nisha’s last day here before September as she is travelling with her family to Uganda.

TUESDAY – Shamsia is in the small room as Mary is on leave. Syrie is looking after Nisha’s children until the end of term.  Eva has her last day ever here today.

WED – Upaia and Katharine visiting a new child today in the morning. Mary is in, in the morning to help out. Cleo’s last day ever.

THURS –  Katharine and Syrie on a home visit in the morning. Shamsia covering. Mary is in for the morning to help out.

FRIDAY – Lucy is in for dance today. Katharine on leave today.

 

We have cd’s from Harriette’s sing along sessions for you to buy. This will help ensure Harriette’s sessions continue for local children. Cd is £10 (cost price). They are really fantastic for all the children. Can you also advertise harriette’s ventures by contacting your family and friends with the information on the postcard sent home with your child.

WEEKLY UPDATE JULY 11^TH – 22^ND.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the fete/fun day, or beforehand by asking for prizes, baking and organising. Special thanks to Phil the Chair of the MC who did all the organising this year. Also Michael Butt for all his help.

IF ANY OF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CAMP OUT AT NURSERY THIS SUMMER WE HAVE TWO WEEKENDS AVAILABLE – 29^th to 30^th July and August 5^th -6^th.  We would like to raise money for Save The Children Fund’s  Big Den Camp and would charge each family £5. Please let me know.

We are doing lots of home visits to new children so Katharine and one member of staff may often not be here either at drop off or pick up time.

Can we ask for all our changes of clothes back. I bought lots of clothes this year and marked them with CG, and most are missing. Check your drawers at home please. We really need all our spare clothes changes here.

MONDAY 11^TH – Katharine off today. Gemma is on holiday until Thursday.  Shamsia is helping us out each day.

TUESDAY 12^th – Small Room outing to Vauxhall City Farm. The big room will have an outing soon.

WED Juy 13^th – Dance and Big song basket.

THURS – New children are vising nursery this morning 10-11.30.

FRIDAY – 15^th – Emma is away today and all next week. She will be back on the 27^th July.

MON- 18^th – Emma away all week. Mary on leave today. Shamsia covering. Today Upaia may start as our new part time staff int eh small room  from September.

TUES 19^th – Nisha is now away until the end of term. Mary and Emma away. Shamsia and Katharine covering.

WED – Big Dance. Song basket. Mary is here in the morning to help out.
